Juicy Burgers1 pkg (1 ¼ oz.)
Williams Meatloaf Seasoning2 tsp. Chopped pickled jalapeno peppers, optional
¾ cup water
2 lbs. Ground chuck
½ cup barbecue sauce
8 slices Cheddar cheese
8 hamburger buns
½ cup mayonnaise
8 lettuce leaves
16 strips bacon, cooked until crisp
8 slices tomato
½ onion, thinly sliced
Heat grill and allow coals to burn down to white ash. In large mixing bowl, combine Williams Meatloaf Seasoning with water and jalapeno peppers. Blend in ground chuck, shape into eight patties. Grill patties 5 minutes. Turn, brush each with barbecue sauce and grill 5 more minutes or until meat thermometer registers 160° and meat is no longer pink.
Spread cut sides of buns with mayonnaise. Serve each patty on bun and top with lettuce, bacon, tomato and sliced onion.
Makes about 8 servings.
